Before I sit down and write a new CV I thought I would try and put across “Evil”. Not by describing or in fact by saying how bad it is or by saying we should do without it. I think what I’m trying to blog is how consistent it is.
Now I haven’t just done something evil or had something happen to me, but I did watch a movie that spoke a lot about it. At least I think it was directed at the idea that evil is necessary, Buddha once said
“There has to be evil so that good can prove its purity above it.”
I genuinely believe this, without bad, what is good? without death, what is life? without freewill, what is will? I’m no philosopher or dictator, but evil interest’s me, or at least the necessity of evil. The movie I watched was “Lord of War” it talks about how guns need to be shipped by runners to supply anybody with any such will to fight. Enough guns for 1 out of every 12 people exists, evil people are funded by our own governments without any such consequence. My question is, do all government’s, and people of power need to have corruption to succeed? I don’t honestly know if this is the case, I’m sure there are good people who do good things to run every country, but I’m also sure there are bad people needed to run every country. Evil will prevail to the end, someone said to me the other day, this world is broken, I would tend to agree, but this world was never fixed. As soon as man was born, so was evil.
Anyway, this blog isn’t to say I agree with evil, I myself believe the opposite. I’m aware of evil but not willing to accept it, or as someone a lot wiser and more intelligent to me once said,
“He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.” Martin Luther King Jr.
