With no Super Sunday on the football/soccer front I am left tonight with the American’s version of football! As a huge fan of this sport I come across to many people especially over here that say the same thing, “it’s crap, to many breaks, I don’t even understand it” Well that’s why you don’t like it because you don’t understand it….! If I didn’t understand something and it stopped all the time I wouldn’t enjoy it either, hardly rocket science, but if y want to like something then you watch and learn! Another reason I think people don’t give NFL a chance is because it’s, well, American. Now I have grown up in awe of america and loved the land they love. Fireworks, Cheerleaders, fighter jets and hot dogs. That may seem excessive for just another game of “football”, but to them it’s not just another game of football. It’s Friday night lights, it’s Monday night football, it’s the opportunity to forget about the daily grind and follow your team to the end. For american’s this is it, for “football fans” (except of course college ball), this is it. No league 2, no Johnstone paint trophy, the NFL is it, so why not go all out!
